Inpatient Rehabilitation Services provides certified care in the areas of Physical and Speech Therapy to all hospital and emergency room patients. The office is staffed by a group of Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants and Aides, and Speech Therapists.

Professional services include post-operative surgical care, splinting, the recommending and fitting of assistive devices, discharge planning, and speech, swallowing, and safety evaluations. Mobility evaluations are also available to assess the needs of compromised Hospital patients and also conduct general treatments in the Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

The department also offers the Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program, designed specifically for people living with arthritis. Participants are instructed in a series of gentle movements and activities and learn how to take an active role in an exercise program.
